Pivot Task
What would you want to know about in Microsoft Excel?
I am preparing a training for my coworkers on Excel. The levels of proficiency range from beginning to advanced. I am looking for feedback on types of things typical users want to know how to do. I am limited for time to conduct the training (approx. 2 hours) and want to concentrate on the most commonly or frequently used tasks (autofilters, pivot tables, lookups & vlookups, named ranges, NO macros – we don’t use them often). Thank you for all your feedback.
1. How to import and edit a text file. Because most of the reports come in text mode & no of rows can be more than 30000 and with header & footer in every page.
2. Functions like “nested if”, where more than 2 conditions have to be tackled with and countif, concatenate
3. How to find duplicates in a report
4. a little bit of reporting formats
